The second Senior Adult Luncheon of the year will take place on Tuesday, May 12th, at 11:30am in the FBC gym. Come and enjoy this wonderful time of food, fun, and fellowship, and please bring your favorite carry-in dish, as well! The Brethren will share a musical program.

Then, on Friday, May 29th, our Senior Saints will be taking a trip to Lawrence, Kansas! First, we will visit the Watkins Museum of History to learn about William Quantrill’s raid on the city in 1863! Then, in the afternoon, we will visit the Spencer Art Museum and the KU Natural History Museum, both located on the University of Kansas campus. We’ll also enjoy both lunch and dinner together along the way! We will leave from the church at 8:30am and return by 8:00pm that evening. The cost for this trip will be $10 plus money for lunch and for dinner. If you would like to attend this event, please sign up on one of the sheets located in both church buildings. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, May 17th.

With the summer just around the corner, we’re looking forward to Senior Saint Vacation Bible School starting on Tuesday, June 9th, at 11:30am! Each session will include a wonderful meal, special music provided by talented singers from our church family, and the opportunity to hear from representatives of some of the ministries with whom we serve in partnership. We will also have a time of Bible Study at each session focusing on who Jesus is as God’s promised, perfect, powerful, and proven Son! Please join us Tuesday, June 9th, and then every Tuesday through July 7th from 11:30am – 1:30pm for this wonderful time of food, fun, fellowship, and studying God’s Word together! This is also an excellent opportunity to invite a family member or friend to come with you! All are welcome!
